Fresh Kid paralyses business in Mbale town in Uganda

Fresh kid waves to his fans on Bishop Wasikye
Business in Mbale town in eastern Uganda Friday came to a standstill for almost three hours shortly after young rapper Patrick Sseyonjo popularly known as Fresh Kid made an entrance ahead of his music shows. 
Several traders closed businesses and lined up on Republic Street, Naboa, Pallissa road, Kumi road and Cathedral Avenue, among others as they waved to the seven-year-old artist.  Boda Boda riders hooted in unison as fans ran in excitement to catch a glimpse at of the Banteka singer.

The management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State, has finally confirmed that three out of the four students, who died at the Sunshine Castle Hostel, Ihiagwa, after allegedly taking tramadol and Indian hemp, were its students. The Public Relations Officer, FUTO, Uche Nwelue, said after investigation, the university was able to identify three of the victims as students of the university. At least 17 men including a woman were reportedly nailed to crosses in the Philippines in an act of devotion to re-enact the crucifixion of Jesus on Good Friday. In San Fernando City, Pampanga province, hundreds of tourists watched in shock as actors dressed as Roman soldiers hammered four-inch nails through the hands and feet of Filipinos into a wooden cross for the 33rd time. “I thought they wouldn’t be nailed but they were really nailed, and it was for me a great event to see it live,” said German tourist Johann Tenken. Devotees, including 58-year old Ruben Enaje who has performed the act 33 times, believe their penance will wash away their sins, cure illness and lead to blessings.
