I can’t stand people who lack respect even if they are talented — Uche Jombo

Nollywood actress and film maker, Uche Jombo has thrown shades at newbees in the Nigerian movie industry who feel it is shameful that stars like herself are getting old.

According to her, such new actors don’t know what it takes to be in the movie industry for 15 years and still remain relevant, that is why they disrespect her generation who sacrificed a lot to pave the way for them.

“It’s amazing how ‘young’ people think, saying you are old or getting old is an insult to entertainers before them. Give your stardom fifteen to twenty years if you are still here, still playing at the top, maybe, just maybe. Once you can actually say I have staying power, you will never think to insult those who walked so you can run. I personally can’t stand people who lack respect even if they are talented, not to talk of those with very little talent. Good morning to only those with home training,” she retorted.
