Yinka Quadri’s Aide Arrested For Disguising As King Sunny Ade To Defraud Victims

The Personal assistant to Yinka Quadri, Lawrence Oyedokun, has been arrested for allegedly disguising as King Sunny Ade and defrauding victims.
Lawrence Oyedokun was alleged to have opened and managing a fake IG and Twitter accounts with the handle @kingsunnyademusic to advertise a fake U.S and U.K musical tour and defrauding people of millions.
LSA understands  Lawrence Oyedokun, 27, was apprehended along-side his girlfriend Rebecca Oyebode, 23, and his friend, Oyewunmi Abiodun Ridwan, 27.
The suspect was said to have cleared his boss, Quadri of any complicity or involvement in the crime as his gang was said to have defrauded about 100 unsuspecting victims and raked in millions of naira from them.
Reacting to the news of Oyedokun, King Sunny Ade said, “People were always calling my number that they heard I was organising a tour. When it was getting too much for me, I had to call the police who helped me. .
People were thinking I was the one doing it, and I’ve never done anything like that in my life. I’m a law-abiding citizen of this country. I came to the CP and he promised to investigate.”
Oyedokun allegedly opened several bank accounts while detectives in charge of the case had so far traced a total of N3,111,175 obtained from 61 victims. The detectives also uncovered that despite that the suspects are in detention, the account under investigation still receives cash inflows ranging from 22 to 33 victims per day.

The management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State, has finally confirmed that three out of the four students, who died at the Sunshine Castle Hostel, Ihiagwa, after allegedly taking tramadol and Indian hemp, were its students. At least 17 men including a woman were reportedly nailed to crosses in the Philippines in an act of devotion to re-enact the crucifixion of Jesus on Good Friday.
